BASIC PISTOL

This instructor-led basic pistol training class is intended for all individuals (21 years or older) regardless of previous experience with firearms. This class covers the following topics: gun safety, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection, maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety; using the NRA Basic Pistol Training curriculum.

Duration: 8 hours

Class location: Students will meet at the Residence Inn, Southington, CT for classroom instruction and self-transport to Wolf's Indoor Range & Shooting Center, Bristol, CT for the live-firing portion of the class. Certificates will be distributed upon completion at the range.

Additional Information: Firearm, ammunition, ear and eye protection will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes, close-toed shoes, boots or sneakers. There will be a 30-minute lunch break. Please bring your own food/beverage. There are a few fast food restaurants nearby.
